Which costs are not counted in this calculator?
It excludes margin loss from mispriced items, paper and printing consumables, trading-hours loss during relabelling, and annual ESL maintenance (usually under 5% of hardware cost). Including them only widens the ESL advantage.
How should I fill in frequency and labour time?
Promotion-heavy supermarkets and convenience chains commonly change prices 2–3 times a week; in a convenience store a single change including walking takes about 30–60 seconds. Use your own store measurement — results update live.
Does the ESL integrate with my POS / ERP?
Teamotto ESL provides an open API and is already integrated with Microsoft Dynamics NAV and other mainstream systems. Without a backend system you can manage pricing directly in our console.
How long does one store take to install?
A standard rollout of 500–2,000 facings per store typically takes 1–2 working days including label binding, done after trading hours without disrupting sales.
